As hand held programmers for older Gemstart units are becoming very difficult to obtain, we thought that we should make our own.

After a lot of investigation we have designed an interface unit that allows all the functionality of the original Gemstart 2 hand held programmer to be duplicated.
Following the successful development of the Gemstart 2 HHP we recreated a version for the Gemstart 3.
Both HHP units connect to the Gemstart in the same way as the original HHP did. It allows the user to do all the things that could be done with the original, and more. With this you can:

• Start and Stop the attached motor
• Touch screen interface
• Setup configuration parameters
• Monitor the status of the Gemstart and attached motor
• Reset trips and faults
• Accept Gemstart address changes
• Store the configuration of 100 Gemstarts
• Work with a PC based application to view or print the stored configurations

The interface is designed to be user friendly, providing simple navigation.

The configuration data from a Gemstart can be stored using on-board EEPROM.
There is capacity for 99 Gemstarts configuration data, referenced by the address 0-99.
This stored configuration data can be uploaded to a PC based application and can be transferred to Excel for printing either as a single Gemstart.
