The GembusHub is a solution to the problem of GE Fanuc PCM obsolescence issue. This device takes the place of the GE Fanuc PCM 301/311 modules.
It allows communications to Gemstarts on Gembus protocol, it is a Modbus server (slave) and makes the data available to anything that can act as a Modbus TCP/IP client (master).

Each GembusHub can host 4 Gembus links each connected to a maximum of 100 Gemstarts that is 400 Gemstarts in total!
The data can be read by up to 16 clients connected to the TCP/IP port of the GembusHub. The clients can be PLCs, DCS or any other system that supports Modbus TCP/IP.
Apstar has used Schneider-Electric M340, GE Fanuc Rx3i and Siemens S7-1200 PLCs with the GembusHub. You can even connect all at the same time.
There is also a USB port, which allows for configuration and diagnostic access.
An application is available to allow configuration as well as simple diagnostic functionality.
The unit is powered by a 12-24Vdc power supply and is DIN rail mountable by default. It can also have the DIN rail adapter removed and be fixed directly to a panel backplane.
